Fettuccine Alfredo – The Origins of the Original Recipe in Rome
A film exploring the origins of Fettuccine Alfredo, the original recipe born in Rome over 110 years ago. A story about heritage, identity, and tradition as cultural legacy.
Fettuccine Alfredo is one of the most recognizable symbols of Italian culinary excellence worldwide. Created to mark the 110th anniversary of the original recipe, this cinematic project elevates the story beyond gastronomy, positioning it as cultural heritage. The film reveals how a simple gesture became an enduring ritual capable of crossing generations and borders. It demonstrates how a historic brand can strengthen its positioning by valuing its heritage while remaining relevant in the present. The project was conceived as a case study for the Food Management course at EIIS, based on a simple idea: identity is not explained through slides, it is understood through lived experience.
